On Monday, August 24, 2009, at 11:16 p.m., we welcomed our firstborn son, Harrison Reed Weathers, into the world. He weighed 8 pounds, 12 ounces and measured 21 inches long.
Parenthood is an amazing journey that is both challenging and rewarding, and one we wouldn't trade for the world. We are both excited to see how God will continue to bless this new chapter in our life!

On Wednesday, August 26, 2009, we brought Reed home from the hospital. About two hours later, both sets of grandparents and Aunt Chelsea (my sister) arrived after driving the long trek from Nashville. They all spent 4 days in Dallas helping us care for our new little man and provided us with wonderful gifts like a swing and diaper genie!
